PLO Threatens To File Complaint Against US At ICC

The Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) was designated a ‘Foreign Terrorist Organization’ by the US State Department, until its removal in 1994, after the signing of the Oslo Accords with Israel, and promise to refrain from acts of terrorism in the future.  The current day Palestinian Authority was created from the failed Accords, with many of the same names and faces occupying positions of power in both the PLO and the PA to this very day.  The PA employs a ‘pay for slay’ policy that incentivizes Arabs to murder Israeli citizens, paying imprisoned terrorists or “martyrs'” families monthly stipends for committing these atrocities.  So clearly, the terrorist ways of the old PLO remain in tact, in today’s PA.

The International Criminal Court made the grave error of allowing “Palestine” to become a member of its “justice system”; it is not a country, and it’s run by terrorists (both the PA and HAMAS).  Now, the PLO is threatening to file a complaint against the United States over President Trump’s decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.  As usual, the PLO/PA is abusing its membership in international organizations in attempts to delegitimize Israel’s sovereignty, and in this case, going after America in the process.

Jerusalem has been the capital of the Jewish people for over 3,000 years, and the capital of the modern state of Israel since 1948; Israel’s Knesset, Supreme Court, President and Prime Minister all reside there.  The US Congress voted to recognize this obvious fact in 1995, only no POTUS since then had the courage to enforce the law that Congress passed, until now.  The PA threatening to file charges against the US exemplifies why there has not been a final peace agreement between Israel and the Arabs, they simply refuse to recognize the historic ties of the Jewish people to Jerusalem, and Israel as a whole.
