Seattle City Council Will Not Allow Federalized National Guard in CHAZ

Barry Nussbaum: Welcome to ATP Report. I’m Barry Nussbaum. Did you know that the Seattle CHAZ or CHOP is apparently not only okay with the mayor of Seattle who calls it a street fair, but the Seattle City Council is now on board, too. The police are not allowed in, and the fire department will not enter without a police escort. So, in other words, this six or seven block square area in downtown Seattle is now foreign territory. So how did the City Council of Seattle respond to protect the terrorized residents and businesses that are trapped under the control of armed anarchists? Well, here’s how. The Seattle City Council passed a resolution informing the federal government they will not allow federalized National Guardsmen or active-duty troops to be deployed to the city as protests and clashes with police continue outside the CHOP. In other words, the taxpayers of Seattle who happen to have the misfortune of living or working in the CHOP that the mayor calls a street fair are being brutalized. And not only will the city not help, but they’re preventing the feds from intervening to rescue these hostages. Welcome to a horror movie come to life in Seattle today.
