Jermain Botsio: Politicalnewsalert.com. Why Bernie is worried Ocasio Cortez’s head will explode, and you know, what I see is a crazy old man trying to bring another person who is crazy on his staff. What do you think about this? Should people be worried?

Barry Nussbaum: I don’t think there’s a chance on planet Earth that Bernie Sanders will be our next president. He has, this is a guy that’s never had a job outside of government. He’s been a socialist, Marxist, Communist his whole life. This is a man who honeymooned in the Soviet Union and idolized Stalin. This is the guy that thinks socialism, Venezuela style, where half the country is eating their pets because they’re starving to death is a country to emulate. So, what does he want to do? Well, why not bring in the next generation of socialism insanity the Free Stuff Brigade. Let me tell you when I was graduating from college; I was massively in debt. I had no money. I didn’t know what I was going to do. If someone came up to me and said, hey, you know that bazillion dollars you owe back on student loans to your college and the state and the federal government. Ahhh, you shouldn’t pay that back. You were tricked, and you shouldn’t have to have any debt, and you want to get free life insurance and free health insurance. You want to go to graduate school. That’s free to. You want a low tax rate; we’ll give you money from the rich. Everything’s going be free. I got news for you when I was twenty one that would have sounded really good. I wouldn’t have understood it. I wouldn’t understand where the money’s coming from, but that’s their program. Now, keep in mind, these are people that have never run a business, never run a company, never been in charge of a budget, but they’ve got some great ideas about free stuff, Jermain and what people forget is the money doesn’t come from the government. The money comes from you and me and your viewers and if your viewers want their money given to the person next door that doesn’t want to work because, well, you know, work kind of sucks then they ought vote for somebody else because people that think capitalism is stupid, repressive and prejudicial ought to go to another country like Venezuela, like China, like the Soviet Union, like the Eastern Bloc when it existed. Every one of the people in Eastern Europe that is now free, thanks God communism is over because communism is simply give me your money let me give it to somebody else. You work hard; they don’t work. I’ll give it to them. That’s what that means. Hard work is not rewarded, hard work is punished, no work is rewarded. They even the playing field as if everybody is equal. Well, you know what? I don’t want to live in that world. I want hard work to mean something.

Jermain Botsio: Absolutely.

Barry Nussbaum: And I want no work to mean something, and Bernie doesn’t seem to get that. So the rich are the enemy. You know, if you look at how Lenin came to power and how Stalin kept power, they made the rich the enemy. The same way that Hugo Chavez did it in South America. The easiest way to be reelected is to hate people that have something that you want. It’s called envy, and if you can harness that, people will vote for it. The have nots want to take from the haves. Never mind the fact the haves have earned it. They didn’t rob banks. They didn’t put a gun to your head and say, give me money. They worked their asses off. I don’t know anybody, and I’m in my 60’s, that’s wealthy that didn’t work their asses off 60, 70 hours a week. I can tell you, I worked that hard for a long time, and I know you do too because we, in your case, you’re an immigrant. I’m the son of an immigrant. My parents came here with like $4, and I knew that the only way I would make it in America was hard work.

Jermain Botsio: Uh-Huh.

Barry Nussbaum: God bless America, and the people that don’t get that phrase for what it means don’t deserve America. They need to be educated so they know better. Bernie Sanders and his great new representative AOC want to take what you have and give it to the person across the street that doesn’t want to work. I don’t want that system, Jermain. I’m pretty sure you don’t either.

Jermain Botsio: I’m all for working. One thing my dad said if you’re not at school, you better be working.

Barry Nussbaum: You know what, I remember the map from 2016. When you color in how America voted, the entire country, with the exception of the West Coast and the East Coast, is red. That’s the working people. Those are my people, those are your people. You’ve got some crazy, crazy liberal ideas on the coasts, and you can see how well those liberal ideas are working in San Francisco and Los Angeles where it’s now not going to be prosecuted if you urinate or defecate in the street. In San Francisco, that’s no longer a crime. If you shoot up heroin and drop a needle in front of a baby, it’s no longer illegal. It’s not going to be prosecuted. This is socialism run crazy, and I fear for the country, except here is my positive way to end. Americans are smarter than liberal media paints us. In other words, what you just talked about Jermain was really, really smart stuff. Hard work is the American way. That’s what built this country. That’s what allowed us to be the best and the brightest and the most generous country, get this, in the history of planet earth because having capitalism encouraged where if you work hard, no one’s going stop you is the American dream. I’m the embodiment of that, as are you. God bless your parents for getting here and working so hard, and people like you and people like me resent the idea that somehow we are going to lose whatever we have to give it to people who don’t want to work. As Margaret Thatcher said, one of my heroes, contrary to Hillary Clinton, thinking she was a dirtbag, the prime minister of Great Britain said, “The problem with socialism is eventually you run out of other people’s money.”

Jermain Botsio: Uh-huh.

Barry Nussbaum: And Bernie doesn’t get that. He’s never had a job outside of government. AOC has never run a business, has never had a job other than being supported now by the government and so these are people who are professional politicians. Our founders didn’t want this. Our founders wanted you to get elected. Serve a few terms and then go back to your business. Go back to your farm. Go back to your family. They didn’t want a system of professional politicians who served 30 and 40 years off the American people because you would lose sight of what it means to be an American who’s working hard. Look when Americans can work hard and have to buy their own insurance, but Congress doesn’t, that’s not right. When Congress can steal insider secrets and buy stocks on the insider trading and not be prosecuted, that’s not right. Where they don’t get the same health insurance you do, they can buy their own. That’s not right. They’re living in a different world, and quite frankly, enough is enough. I think you’re going to see in the next election a reaction to Bernie Sanders and AOC who want to take everything away from you and there are a few other socialist left-wing politicians in that same ilk that are outdoing themselves for how much they’re going to tax us to give to other people. I think there’s going to be a rebellion among voters who are going to say; you know what, I don’t want to pay for that. I’m sorry, the answer’s no, and that’s why I encourage everybody to get out in November 2020.
