Hello, and welcome to ATP’s, Really Dumb Things, They Said. I’m Barry Nussbaum. Get ready for a new low in military wokeness. The Space Force officer, who is removed from his command post for condemning Marxism and critical race theory, is leaving the military.

Lt. Col. Matthew Lohmeier says his last day in the service will be September 1st. According to his boss, Lt. Gen. Stephen Whiting, Space Operation Commander. He relieved Lohmeier of command, “Due to the loss of trust and confidence in his ability to lead.”

Lohmeier had published a book warning about the spread of Marxism and critical race theory in the military and was on a podcast promoting the book. Multiple members of Congress have now commented, including Senator Jim Inhofe, the top Republican on the Senate Armed Services Committee.

He said, “Based on the information the committee has received so far, and what’s been reported in the press, I’m concerned. Members of our military should not only be able to speak out against Marxism, but they should also be encouraged to do so as long as they follow the rules and laws already in place. Marxism is an ideology that goes against everything this country stands for, and it belongs, as Ronald Reagan said, famously ‘On the ash heap of history.”

Colonel Lohmeier added, “It’s not politically Partisan to expose Marxism ideology where it exists and to talk about critical race theory. That should be something we’re united standing against,” he said.

You know what? He’s one 100% correct. The military is trained to protect us and, if necessary, to kill to protect us. Teaching that Marxism is bad is a very, very good thing.

What the hell happened to our American armed forces in just a few months under Joe Biden, that criticizing enemies of the United States, is now dumb? Socialism killed several hundred million people in the 20th century.

Maybe we should suggest the colonel’s dumb boss should have been the one fired because he doesn’t know anything about history.
