Really Dumb Things They Said
Noel Ignatiev Views on Race Theory

Hello, and welcome to ATP’s, Really Dumb Things, They Said. I’m Barry Nussbaum.
Noel Ignatiev just died.
He was a professor at Harvard, and then later, he was a professor of liberal arts at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design. But now, he’s widely discussed because of his popular views on race theory that you won’t believe when you hear them. Are you ready?
“Whiteness is a form of racial oppression. Treason to the white race is loyalty to humanity. The goal of abolishing the white race is, on its face, so desirable that some may find it hard to believe that it could incur any opposition other than from committed white supremacists. The task is to bring this minority together in such a way that it makes it impossible for the legacy of whiteness to continue to reproduce itself.”
This may be the dumbest philosophy I have ever heard publicly espoused by a real college professor who hires idiots like this.
