Really Dumb Things They Said
Matthew Lohmeier was Relieved of His Duties Because of A Loss Of Confidence in His Ability To Lead
Barry Nussbaum: Hello, and welcome to ATP’s, Really Dumb Things, They Said. I’m Barry Nussbaum.
Lieutenant Colonel Matthew Lohmeier is the commander, or at least was, of the 11th Space Warning Squadron at Buckley Air Force Base in Colorado. He was just relieved from his duties because of a loss of confidence in his ability to lead. Why? Well, this is a dumb one.
The reason for Lohmeier’s ousting was based on a public comment made by the lieutenant colonel in a recent podcast in reference to his newly self-published book. According to Lieutenant General Steven Whiting, who’s the head of Space Operations Command, he was the one that relieved his junior officer.
He fired Lohmeier from his duties because “Lieutenant General Whiting has initiated a command directed investigation on whether these comments constituted prohibited partisan activity.” So, Lohmeier had a self-published book. Here’s the title:
Irresistible Revolution, Marxism, Goal of Conquest and the Unmasking of the American Military.
So, that’s the book he wrote defending the military. The military was aware of the book. He got approval for the book, and he wrote the book that promoted capitalism and attacked Marxism because this man loves the United States and the American way of life. So, good and good for you, but then he was fired from his very important job in the military because he went on a podcast promoting the American way of life.
Holy Moley! And the lieutenant colonel also referred to the 1619 project as un-American, which it is. It promotes racism and says we are white supremacists.
So, the military at Space Command is woke, un-American, and really dumb.
