Hello, and welcome to ATP’s Really Dumb Things, They Said. I’m Barry Nussbaum. Climate activist Isra Hirsi, the 18-year-old daughter of Representative Ilhan Omar, added the communist hammer and sickle to her Twitter bio and has openly called for a communist revolution.

Percy co-founded the U.S. Youth Climate Strike and has received fawning coverage from liberal media outlets. In addition to her earlier calling for a communist revolution, she’s reportedly also in charge of running some of her mother’s tweets.

Throughout the last century, if you don’t remember, a communist regime resulted in the oppression and death of tens of millions of people worldwide, including and especially in the Soviet Union. It is there that the hammer and sickle symbol was first adopted among the proletariat or working class and has since become the international emblem of communism.

Now, the congresswoman’s daughter has amassed a massive following on Twitter and Instagram throughout her work in the United States, and the youth climate strike has added to it.

So, this dumb communist revolutionary has a national platform and a fawning press while she advocates for the overthrow of America. Dumb, dumb, dumb.
