BLM Co-Founder: “We Are Trained Marxists”
Barry Nussbaum: Welcome to ATP Report. I'm Barry Nussbaum. By now, everyone on the planet knows about Black Lives Matter. But there is a difference between saying black lives matter and the movement that is Black Lives Matter. Patrisse Cullors is one of the Black Lives Matters movement founders, and she's a self-styled, as she calls herself a queer activist that has advocated for the abolition of prisons. That means no more prisons. I guess if you don't have a place to put bad people, you just let them go?
In addition to her words, she says, "Myself and Alicia, her co-founder, in particular, are trained organizers, and we are trained Marxists," she says. A policy writer for the BLM movement, Rachel Gillmer, who helped assemble and draft the Movement for Black Lives and their platform, has adopted an anti-Israel position. She endorses the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement, or BDS and their full agenda, which seeks the elimination of the world's only Jewish state. Gillmer says Zionism is white supremacy, and her platform reflects this and the attitude included in the false accusation that Israel commits genocide against the population of the Palestinians. And that remains a popular modern blood libel against Israel. For your information, a few years ago, I was lucky enough to spend an evening with Miss Israel, who, as you can see from this picture, is a Jewish, African, Israeli. I guess the white supremacy thing is not very successful in Israel these days.
