Squad member Ayanna Pressley, a member of Congress, decided that a person is unable to be anti-racist unless they support canceling all student debt. In a tweet, Congresswoman Pressley, one of the members of the squad alongside Reps Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, and Rashida Tlaib, all Democrats, shared an article written by The Washington Post that detailed the stories of people across America with student debts.

Alongside the article, Pressley declared that a person could not stand against racism if they don’t support canceling student debt. Got it? Here’s the quote, “You can’t be anti-racist if you’re anti-student debt cancelation,” Pressley wrote.
