Really Dumb Things They Said
Arkansas Banned Minors From Getting Gender Reassignment Surgery

Hello, and welcome to American Truth Projects, Really Dumb Things They Said. I’m Barry Nussbaum.
TV star Sophia Bush has blasted Arkansas’s new law banning minors from receiving sex-change operations, puberty-blocking pills and hormones, and other life-altering medical procedures. Saying the legislation is, quote, ‘Tantamount to murder.’
That’s what she said. That’s a quote. She starred in the One Tree Hill series, and she’s now a left-wing activist. She put in an Instagram post that transgender children, young children, should be allowed to change their sex if they want to. Adding that, ‘Adults need to support them.’
So, according to Sophia Bush, ‘Transgender kids are under attack across the country. Arkansas just banned them from accessing health care. That is tantamount to murder. Kids will tell us who they are. It’s our job to support them, not demonize or harm them.’
So, let’s sort this out. A 12-year-old who cannot vote, cannot drive, and can’t do anything adults can do, they are probably still in the seventh grade, can change their own sex permanently. Including a permanent sex change operation, according to this young lady. Because if they can’t, that is the same as murder.
This may be the dumbest statement ever uttered by a television star, ever.
