BARRY’S TAKE: Seriously. After repeatedly violating both U.N. Resolutions against ballistic missile testing and additionally violating the JCPOA by firing missiles capable of carrying nuclear payloads, (plus numerous other provocations) the U.S. Treasury announced new sanctions against Iran.
The sanctions target 11 companies and individuals who have been involved in procuring goods for Iran’s weapons program, the Treasury Department says.”This action is consistent with the U.S. government’s commitment to continue targeting those who assist in Iran’s efforts to procure items for its ballistic missile program,” the department said in a statement.
And to really prove the U.S. is not kidding around…..$100 billion was released to Iran on the same day!
Wow, American foreign policy is so tough under this administration!
