US Congress Did Not Allow Rapid Refunding of Israel Iron Dome System

Hello, and welcome to ATP’s Really Dumb Things, They Said. I’m Barry Nussbaum.

Not only did the Democrat-controlled U.S. Congress not allow for rapid refunding of Israel’s Iron Dome system that shoots down terror rockets. To make matters worse, House Republicans pushed to sanction the Iran-based terror group Hamas, and the Democrats stopped it. Democrats rejected a bid by House Republicans to hold a vote on Hamas sanctions legislation offered by Representative Brian Mast.

The bill was supported by every House Democrat in the last Congress but stalled this time when Democrat members refused to allow the bill to be considered by the legislative body. Republicans wanted to pass the legislation to express support for Israel further as it fights the terror group Hamas.

It’s recognized around the world as a horrible terror organization, and that stigma is on it for a good reason. Their stated goal is to wipe Israel off the map, and in the last Congress, every Democrat voted to sanction them. This time, the left-wing squad endorsed these murders and would not sanction them.

Dumb is not strong enough to label this new Democrat policy in Congress.
