President Joe Biden will display transgender flags at the White House this week to celebrate Transgender Day of Visibility. The president said, “Transgender Day of Visibility recognizes the generations of struggle, activism, and courage that have brought our country closer to full equality for transgender and gender nonbinary people in the United States and around the world.”

As a point of reference, somewhere between .5 and .7 of 1% of the American population says they’re transgender. Does the smallest identifiable minority in the country literally need special recognition from the President with so many problems with so many groups getting worse day after day after day?

Honestly, dumb prioritization by the President of the United States.
