The surge of unaccompanied children and families to the southern border, as well as the surge of non-marijuana heavy drug trafficking plus human trafficking across the border, is a humanitarian crisis. It’s a health crisis, and it’s a national security crisis.

So, how is the president responding to this self-created disaster that his administration created? Well, the Biden administration has ordered the termination of all work on the entire border barrier from one end to the other.

All construction sites and all crews are essentially idle. At the reported cost of more than one million dollars per day in Cochise County, Arizona alone, because the contracts are there, they’re just not getting work. It costs a million taxpayer dollars per day for the construction crews to sit idle.

So, more than 100 million so far has been wasted on just this one site to figure out how to unwind this mess. We are spending more not to build, and build sites to house everyone than to prevent the losses of billions of dollars in taxpayer money.

Is this the dumbest policy you’ve ever thought of, heard of, or watched get implemented by a President of the United States?

We’re letting the people in, and it costs more than keeping them out-security aside, which makes it much worse.
